Abstract Submission

All accepted papers have to be presented at the conference, and will be published in the conference proceedings. 

English will be used for all printed material, as well as for the technical presentations and discussions. Presented papers will be listed on IEEE Xplore.

The one-page abstract should contain the title of the paper, contact person, authors and their affiliations, keywords, together with a summary of the paper and its main contributions. There are no strict format requirements.

The primary conference subject area to which the paper is most relevant should be quoted.

It should be noted that only electronically submitted abstracts in Word or ‘.pdf’ format will be considered.

Abstract uploading instructions

  1. First, you need to create a user account by clicking the ‘Sign up’ button. You can use the same box to login subsequently to check your account and papers: Submit an abstract or paper to UPEC2018/login to your account
  2. Enter the paper title, all authors’ e-mail addresses and your subject area preferences.
  3. Upload your paper abstract/s using the ‘File upload’ facility.

Deadline for receipt of Abstracts: 16th March 2018

Notification of acceptance will be given by 6th April 2018


 Note: Authors need to check their submission from the author console as the CMT does not acknowledge the submission. 

 Note: Authors are able to check and edit submitted files up until the abstract submission deadline.
